Thanksgiving Dinner

2017-10-08

The Salvation Army hosted our annual Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday, October 8 where we served about 500 meals in two sittings, a first at 3:00 p.m. to members of the community followed by a sitting for our shelter clients at 5:00 p.m. We thank the many volunteers who turned out to help, ranging from employees of the Booth Centre, to some of our suppliers as well as friends of the organization, including Ottawa Deputy Mayor, Mark Taylor, and his wife, Christine.
